Hospitals
Overview
Adventist Health operates two hospitals in Hanford:
Central Valley General Hospital and Hanford Community Medical Center,
as well as the Kerr Outpatient Surgery Center. It also operates Selma
Community Hospital in Selma as a service of Hanford Community Medical
Center. These facilities take pride in continually bringing new and innovative
care and services to Kings County and southern Fresno County while preserving
the traditions of patient-centered care that have characterized our philosophy
for more than 90 years.

Central Valley General Hospital, Hanford Community
Medical Center and Selma Community Hospital are part of Adventist Health,
a not-for-profit, faith-based health system operating in California,
Hawaii, Oregon and Washington. Founded on the Seventh-day Adventist heritage
of Christian health care, Adventist Health comprises 20 hospitals
with more than 3,100 beds, 18,800 employees, numerous clinics and outpatient
facilities, 16 home care agencies, and three joint-venture retirement
centers.
