Marc D. Johnson, MD, MPH, Occupational Medicine
Dr. Marc Johnson, JobCare’s medical director, graduated from Columbia University’s School of Medicine. Specially trained and focused in the discipline of occupational health medicine, Dr. Johnson is one of California’s most sought after “Occ-Docs”, or occupational medicine physicians. He serves on the legislative committee for Western Occupational Environmental Medical Association (WOEMA). He also served in the U.S. Army’s 54 Battalion during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq.
His professional affiliations include membership with the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and certification as a Medical Review Officer. Dr. Johnson’s professional interests include wellness, nutrition, exercise, work injury prevention and early return to work.
Dr. Johnson grew up in Connecticut. He and his wife have two cats and enjoy reading, traveling, experiencing the arts and restoring vintage cars.
Mitch Goddard
JobCare Director Mitch Goddard, a member of the Adventist Health Central Valley Network since 2005, has a background in organizational design and business development and as a corporate trainer. In addition to his current duties as director, he also serves as network instructor, teaching our high standards for customer service to all Adventist Health employees. He also oversees our Employee Health Department and is responsible for ensuring that the nearly 3,000 employees of the Central Valley Network are fit for duty and meet the strict health requirements necessary to provide safe, quality care to the communities within our 2,500-square-mile service area.
In his spare time, Mitch enjoys exercising, gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with his wife, Carolann, and their “children” (3 dogs and 2 cats).
Larry Hill, MSN, CFNP
Larry Hill, MSN, CFNP, who began his health care career in 1990, has earned the respect and recognition of colleagues and members of the medical community as a top-notch clinician. He received his registered nurse’s designation at Fresno City College, and he is a graduate of California State University, Bakersfield, where he earned his certification as a family nurse practitioner and his masters in science of nursing.
Larry grew up in Reedley and is married with two children, two dogs and two cats. In his spare time, he is a national-award-winning grill chef and is the lead partner of the competition BBQ team Cuttin’ Edge QN, based in Hanford.
Pamela Hernandez, PA
Pamela Hernandez, PA, is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Physician Assistant program. She has worked in occupational medicine since 2004 and enjoys helping people in their time of need.
In her spare time, Pamela enjoys cooking, sewing, traveling and spending time with her husband and children. She grew up in Southern California.
