Laboratory Services
Hanford Community Medical Center
Our laboratories offer complete clinical and pathology services for the people of the central San Joaquin Valley. They are highly computerized and well-equipped with instruments employing the latest technology, such as laser beams and DNA probes.
The labs are staffed by clinical laboratory scientists, phlebotomists and histology technicians, all under the direction of the pathologists who serve as medical directors.
Services include:
- Clinical chemistry
- Microbiology
- Blood banking (transfusion services)
- Hematology
- Surgical pathology
- Cytology
- Histology
In addition, laboratory draw stations are available at the following locations for patient convenience. No appointments are required.
